Artist's Comments

Took this picture at a lake I hiked to a few years ago up in the Sierra Nevada (Eastern side of the mountains, I believe). For once, its a real photograph and not from a digital camera. I like the colors a bit more than the ones that come from my digi.

We had a real good time watching the puppy we brought with us frolic in the water. S/he was being trained as a seeing eye dog, so s/he didn't get to run loose very often. I've never seen a puppy so incredibly happy. :-)

Really cool shot. Big big of an image though. But I like how the mountains lay just on the very edge and look a lot closer than I'm sure they really are. A lot of Bryce people try to go for feels like this but just doesn't quite meet up with actual photography. :) Kudos!

Hmm... I'll fix up the size when I put a border on it.

Thanks. :-)

wow...thats beautiful...reminds me of my renderings except your pic is real!!!

It was a beautiful place. Have to visit there again. The picture doesn't do the water justice. I have never seen water so incredibly blue before. (It had to do with the fact that nothing could/did live in the lake.)

hows it possible nothing lives in the lake...theyre not allowed or the water is sooo blue from a high toxic level?? lol

I think it has something to do with the fact that there aren't enough chemicals/nutrients in the water for it to support life.
